Let the price of 1 soccer ball be S, and cost of 1 volley ball, V

We then get: 5S + 3V = 450 ------- eq (i)

Also, 3S + 2V = 280 ------ eq (ii)

- 10S - 6V = - 900 -------- Multiplying eq (i) by - 2 ------- eq (iii)

   9S + 6V =   840 -------- Multiplying eq (i) by - 3 ------- eq (iv)

       - S = -  60 -------- Adding eqs (iii) & (iv)
