You can put this solution on YOUR website!
9x + 9y = 9...Equation A

2y = 14x + 20...Equation B
==============
9x + 9y = 9

(9x + 9y)/9 = 9/9

x + y = 1

2y = 14x + 20

2y/2 = (14x + 20)/2

y = 7x + 10

===================
x + y = 1

y = 7x + 10

x + 7x + 10 = 1

8x + 10 = 1

8x = 1 - 10

8x = -9

x = -9/8

Now, plug x = -9/8 into either Equation A or N above and solve for y.
I'll let you finish.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Divide members of the first equation by 9.
Divide members of the second equation by 2.

Arrange the two equations into the same form.
system%28x%2By=1%2C7x-y=-10%29

You can eliminate y this way:
x%2By%2B7x-y=1-10
8x=-9
highlight%28x=-9%2F8%29

You could use substitution to find y.
