What is the lesser of two consecutive even integers is 10 more than one- half the greater.
x=the lesser even integer
x+2=the greater even integer

x=10%2B%281%2F2%29%28x%2B2%29
x=10%2B%28x%2B2%29%2F2
x=20%2F2%2B%28x%2B2%29%2F2
x=%28x%2B22%29%2F2
2x=x%2B22
2x-x=22
x=22
So the lesser = 22
the next one is = 24
