You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In number it is written like this x-5/-2 = x-1/-3
--------------
Use parentheses.
(x-5)/-2 = (x-1)/-3
Multiply by -6
3(x-5) = 2(x-1)
3x-15 = 2x - 2
x - 15 = -2
x = 13

Multiply both sides by (-6). You will get an EQUIVALENT equation

3(x-5) = 2(x-1).

I am sure you know how to solve it.
