You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A log measuring 3M 68cm long was cut into 3 parts: A, B, and C. Part A is 75cm longer than Part B, but 50cm shorter than Part C. Find the length of Part C.
---------------
A = B + 75 cm
A = C - 50 cm
A + B + C = 368 cm
-------
Substitute and solve for "A"
A + (A-75) + (A+50) = 368
------------------------------
3A - 25 = 368
3A = 393
A = 131 cm
------
Ans: C = A + 50 = 181 cm = 1m 81cm
--------------------------
