Question 1062503: I would just like to know what the difference is, in a system of inequalities, between an inequality with an and, and an inequality with an or, is. For example there are two of the same inequalities the only difference being that on has an and, and one has an or. Since its a multiple choice question I was given a graph of the right equation to help me figure out which one to pick.
y < 3x + 2 AND y < 1
y < 3x + 2 OR y < 1
But since I dont know the difference between and/or in an inequality I dont know which one to pick.
Please help !

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
AND means BOTH.
OR means just ONE OR THE OTHER BUT NOT BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.

The AND would usually mean INTERSECTION, and the OR would possibly mean UNION, depending on what you are trying to do or solve.
