You can put this solution on YOUR website! Since 2 = 2/1 the slope says "y increases 2 for every 1 change in x"

Slope always tells you the change in y for a change of 1 in x.

Your problem:
If you start at (-3,-6) add 2 to the y-value and 1 to the x value to get
(-2,-4)
Plot those two points and draw a line thru them.
The line will rise because as you move 1 to the right you move up 2.
