Question 1062226: I don't know if this is the correct area. The question is as follows: A tutor earns 15 dollars an hour. She wants to make at least 200 dollars. Write an inequality and solve it showing steps. My answer is this inequality-15h >_ 200 the answe I got was 13.33 I don't know if I can have decimals in the answer. If not then my answer is 14. It can't be that simple right. I think I made a mistake. Please help

When you divide 200 by 15, and reduce it, you get: 
Note that although hours, rounded to the nearest hour, is 13, 13 hours would yield earnings less than 200 dollars. Therefore, if you have to round to the nearest hour, it will be 14.
