That appears to be for point-slope form, %28y%2B5%29=-%283%2F2%29%28x-7%29, and you can FIND the axis intercepts if you solve for a variable and let the other variable be 0. The slope is the very obvious -3%2F2.

Substitute 0 for y, and solve for x to get the x-intercept

Substitute 0 for x, and solve for y to get the y-intercept

Equation form: y+-+y%5B1%5D+=+m%28x+-+x%5B1%5D%29

Compare to:    y+%2B+5+=+%28-+3%2F2%29%28x+-+7%29, and you'll be able to determine the slope, or m
