Question 1061797: hi everyone, I'm a bit stumped on this probability question, I'm new to it and haven't been too bad as of yet. I got this question which I think I know the answer to but not sure as I don't know about darts
The probability of a darts player hitting a bullseye is 0.15
What is the probability of him missing the bullseye?
You can put this solution on YOUR website! if the probability of hitting the bullseye is .15, then the probability of missing the bullseye is 1 - .15 = .85
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Both probabilities add up to 1,
because we are 100% certain
that either the bullseye will be it or it will not be hit.
(It has to be one of the two; there is no third option).
