You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the height h.
You know that the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 10 and one leg is h and the triangle is isosceles since the angle is 45.
10%5E2=h%5E2%2Bh%5E2
2h%5E2=10%5E2
sqrt%282%29h=10
h=10%2Fsqrt%282%29
h=5sqrt%282%29
So then,
A=bh
A=10%2A5sqrt%282%29
A=50sqrt%282%29

.
The area of a parallelogram is A = a%2Ab%2Asin%28alpha%29, where "a" and "b" are the lengths of two adjacent sides
and alpha is the angle between these sides.

In your case A = 10*10*sin(45°) = 100%2A%28sqrt%282%29%2F2%29 = 50%2Asqrt%282%29.
