You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
change to polar form: x^2+y^2= -2x
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In polar form  x%5E2+%2B+y%5E2 = r%5E2, x+=+r%2Acos%28alpha%29.
So, the original equation becomes
r%5E2 = -2rcos%28alpha%29,  or, canceling "r" in both sides,
r = -2cos%28alpha%29.
It is the equation in polar form.
