You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The slope is change in y/change in x.
For line 1, it is 2/4 or 1/2
use point slope formula y-y1=m(x-x1), where m is slope and (x1,y1) is point.
y-4=(1/2)(x+2)
y=(1/2)x+1+4=0.5x+5
-----------------------------
Line 2
slope is 4-(-2)/0-(-2)=6/2=3 is slope
y-4=3(x-0)
y=3x+4. Note: either point may be used.
