You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y > x - 1

Graph the boundary line y = x - 1

Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b
m is the slope
b is the y-intercept

For y = x - 1
- put a point on -1, on the y-axis
- from there use the slope of 1, go up 1 and to the right 1, since it is 1/1 and slope is rise over run
- draw a dashed line through the two points since it is just > and not ≥
- shade everything above the line, since it is greater than

Each point in the shaded region is a solution to the inequality.
