You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Suppose you know that two sides of a triangle are 11 cm and 20 cm. Between what two values must the third side fall? Justify your answer.
------
Ans:: (20-11) < 3rd side <(20+11)
3rd side has to be less than sum of other two otherwise it could not
reach the furthest left end point and the furtherst right end point.
------
3rd side haw to be more that the difference or it will not complete
the triangle.
---------------
You should sketch the 11 and the 20 cm sides to convince yourself
that the above inequality is correct.

Stan
