Jennifer=x-4
In 7 years, Nina will be x+7 years old and that is 2*(x-9), which is x-4, Jennifer's age, minus 5
x+7=2(x-9)
x+7=2x-18
x=25 years for Nina
Jennifer is 21 years
In 7 years, Nina will be 32, which is twice the 16 that Jennifer was 5 years ago.
