Answer by addingup(3677) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1) [(34*1)/4]-[(2*7)/8] = (34/4)-(14/8) = (68-14)/8 = 27/4 = 6 3/4
2) 9/11, 0.99, 9/10: Divide 9/11, then divide 9/10. Now you have all decimals. Order them from least to greatest
3) Same as 2)
4) A negative exponent just means that the base is on the wrong side of the fraction line, so you need to flip the base to the other side, like this:
1/64 take the square root of 64 (use your calculator), then put that number on top with a negative exponent, like this: 8^-2
5) and 6): too easy, you can add just like I can. If I were you I'd draw a tree like the one below, which I took to 1st generation of grandparents but I don't know if your teacher means three generations (your parents first, your grandparents second, your great grandparents third) or three generations of grandparents, beginning with your grandparents. You may know the answer and if not you may want to clarify this.
