If Victoria give $25.00 to the cab driver (which includes a $4.33 tip) once she makes it to the Eastin Hotel, how many exact miles did the taxi travel from the airport.

25-4.33-3.75=16.92 variable cost for the trip (the tip is also subtracted). Victoria pays 36 cents for every 2/5 miles, so every miles costs her 5/2 x .36=90 cents a miles. Let n be the number of miles for the trip. Then:
