Hi there,
The difference between a small and large integer is 48.
x - y = 48
The large integer is 5 times as the small.
x = 5y
Substitute x = 5y in x - y = 48
5y - y = 48
4y = 48
y = 12
Large integer = 60
60 - 12 = 48
