You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The area of a rectangle is,
A=L%2AW=63
and
W=L-2
Substituting,
L%28L-2%29=63
L%5E2-2L-63=0
%28L-9%29%28L%2B7%29=0
Only one solution is positive,
L-9=0
L=9ft
So then,
W=9-2
W=7ft
