The sample space is {all possible outcomes}=(11,12,13,14,21,22,23,24,31,32,33,34,41,42,43,44}
The product will be even 3/4 the time, 12,14,21,22,23,24,32,34,41,42,43,44.
It will be odd 1/4 the time, 11,13,31,33
It will never be 18--null set.
Even and odd are mutually exclusive, because a number can not be both odd and even at the same time.
