You can put this solution on YOUR website! Sol:-Let the third side be x.
then,second side=2x
and first side=2x+4
A/Q
x+2x+2x+4=44
5x=40
x=8
Since,third side=8cm
second side=16cm
third side=20cm.

The perimeter of a triangle is 44 cm. One of its sides is 4 cm smaller than the other and twice as big as the third side.
Find the sides of the triangle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let the third side be x.
Then FIRST side = 2x
and SECOND side = 2x+4
Then
x + (2x+4) + 2x = 44
5x = 40
x = 8.
Hence, third side = 8 cm
first side = 16 cm
second side = 20 cm.
