At that point you wanted to multiply both sides of the equal sign times 3,
to eliminate the 3 denomimator.
That is where you made your calculation mistake.
3%2A%28x%2B%284%2F3%29x%2B2.2x%29+=3%2A1
3x%2B4x%2B6.6x=3
13.6x=3
x=3%2F13.6
That is approximately
x=0.22
