Question 1055021: I am working on Linear Equation and Inequalities

I have to identify solutions to a two step linear inequality in one variable and see it the numbers for equation are either True or False

For Example -9w-3>-57
I have to decide which numbers are true are false so I have
-1,-8,7, and 6. I get some of them right then I get stuck and have to start over I have to finish my school work by today and I have a test and a paper due today really need some help on a few problems to get done if possible.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! -9w > -54
w > 6
------------
check:
-9(6) > -54
-54 > -54 so 6 is false because the result is =-54 and not <-54
-----------
-9(7) > -54
-63 > -54 true, -63 is SMALLER than -54
Try the rest yourself, substitute for w.
And remember, you are going along a line like this
(-) __________(0)____________(+)
the further left you go, the smaller the number and the further right the bigger the number.
Example: -6 is smaller than -1 and -1 smaller than 5, and of course, 5 is smaller than 20.

FYI: This is NOT an equation, but an INEQUALITY instead.
 , since w < 6.
