You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.D%5B1%5D=R%5B1%5D%2At%5B1%5D=71
2.D%5B2%5D=%28R%5B1%5D-5%29%2At%5B2%5D=25
3.t%5B1%5D%2Bt%5B2%5D=5
From 1,
t%5B1%5D=71%2FR%5B1%5D
From 2,
t%5B2%5D=25%2F%28R%5B1%5D-5%29
Substituting into 3,
71%2FR%5B1%5D%2B25%2F%28R%5B1%5D-5%29=5
Solving this graphically, you get two answers,
R%5B1%5D=3.416 and R%5B1%5D=20.784
However since R%5B1%5D-5 would be negative when R%5B1%5D=3.416 use the other answer.
R%5B1%5D=20.784 for the first part of the trip then,
R%5B1%5D-5=15.784 for the second part of the trip.
