You can put this solution on YOUR website!
330 tablets * 300 mg/tablet. Notice that tablet*mg/tablet = mg. That can be converted easily to grams, so you multiply 330*300 to get 99,000 mg.
Now 99,000 mg * 1 gm/1000mg and the mg cancel out. 99000/1000=99 grams. If you get the units right, you put in the appropriate numbers and do the arithmetic.
------------------------------
9 steaks at 6.75 pounds per steak. There are 16 ounces in a pound, so 12 ounces is 12/16 or 3/4 or 0.75.
I'd rather multiply by 6.75 than by 6 pounds 12 ounces, although one can do both.
How many pounds is 9 steaks * 6.75 pounds/steak? Notice that the units will have steak cancel and we will be left with pounds, which is what we want.
9*(6.75) can be done on a calculator and is 60.75 pounds
Now for cost
60.75 pounds*$4/pound. The units are $, since the pounds cancel. $4*60.75=$243.
Check
each steak is 6.75 pounds and costs $4^6.75 or $27.
9*$27=$243.
