please tell me the solution of this problem.
A labourer can do a job in 3 days, a second can do it in 6 days, and a third can do it in 7 days.
How many days can the three do the job if they work together?
Give answer in fractional form.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first worker  can do 1%2F3 of the work per day.
The second worker can do 1%2F6 of the work per day.
The third  worker can do 1%2F7 of the work per day.
Working together, the three can do
1%2F3+%2B+1%2F6+%2B+1%2F7 =  14%2F42+%2B+7%2F42+%2B+6%2F42 = %2814%2B7%2B6%29%2F42 = 27%2F42 = 9%2F14
of the work per day.
Hence, it will take 14%2F9 = 1 5%2F9 days for the three workers to complete the job working together.
