Question 1052846: I'm stuck on this and would really like some help!
Consider selecting one card at a time from a 52-card deck. What is the probability that the first card is an ace and the second card is also an ace? (Note: There are 4 aces in a deck of cards)
Please show all work!
(a) Assuming the card selection is without replacement.
(b) Assuming the card selection is with replacement.
Thank you so much for your help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! With no replacement, the probability of drawing two aces in a row are 4/52 x 3/51:
4/52 x 3/51=1/13 x 1/17=1/221, or 0.0045248
With replacement, the probability is 1/13 x 1/13, which equals 1/169, or 0.0059171. ☺☺☺☺
