y+=+-%283x-4%29%5E2%2B6 Expand the parentheses by squaring.
y+=+-%289x%5E2-24x%2B16%29%2B6 Simplify.
y+=+-9x%5E2%2B24x-16%2B6
y+=+-9x%5E2%2B24x-10 ...and there you have it!
