 a. y=f(x-1)
 B. y=-f(x+4)
 C. y=2f(x-3)-4
I don't really understand this question am I suppose to use a formula for each one? Or how do you even get the problem solved?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! If this is all they give you, then that means the function,
is unknown. In that case, I think this is all you can do:
 (a)
 ( 4,-5 )

  The point would be:
 ( 3, f(3) )
 ----------------------
 (b)
 ( 4,-5)

  The point is:
 ( 8, f(8) )
 ----------------------
In other words, you can't really use the
 information that
  , because when
changes, then what does do? Only the actual function would tell you that.
