Question 1051479: Hello! Can you list the points of the graph f(x) = 2√x -2 and the domain and range for that graph? If you could provide an explaination for how you got the answers to the domain and range and the graph, that would be great.
Note that the -2 is not under the squared section of the problem. Only the x is.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+x+ can't be negative since that makes
+sqrt%28x%29+ imaginary
So, the domain is 0 < x < + infinity
--------------------------------
+f%28x%29+ can't be any more negative than +-2+,
but can be any positive value, so
the range is -2 < f(x) < + infinity
---------------------------------
Here's the plot:
+graph%28+400%2C+400%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+sqrt%28x%29+-+2+%29+
