Question 1048535: i have a question i have a triangle problem that says to find angle z but the only information it gives me is that the top angle is 40 and bottom left angle is y and z sits in the bottom right how can i answer with only knowing what one angle is Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! One could do that IF it is an Isosceles Triangle (Base Angles Equal)
180°-40° = 140°
140°/2 = 70° for the base angles
z = 70°
