Question 1046104: I don't know how to solve g(1-t)=3(1-t)^2-2(1-t)+1. I have seen many examples, but I still don't know how to do it. Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let x = (1-t)
Then:
g(x) = 3x^2 - 2x + 1
x =
x = 1/3 ± 2i√2
and
1-t = 1/3 ± 2i√2
2/3 ± 2i√2 = t
Check All work
Note:
3x^2 - 2x - 1 = (3x + 1)(x-1) Much easier to solve
