You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Car traveled for 1/2 hour at r mph, then increased the speed by 10 mph and traveled for 1 1/2 hour more. How far did the car go?
====================
1st leg DATA:
time = 1/2 hr ; rate = r mph ; dist = t*r = (1/2)r miles
---
2nd leg DATA:
time = (3/2) hr ; rate = r+10 mph ; dist = (3/2)(r+10) miles
-----
Ans::
Total distance = (1/2)r + (3/2)r + (3/2)10 = 2r + 15 miles

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
t=%281%2F2%29h at rate r%28mil%2Fh%29, => so, distance is d=%281%2F2%29r%28mil%2Fh%29
then increased the speed by 10%28mil%2Fh+%29, so we have
t=1+1%2F2h or t=%283%2F2%29h at %28r%2B10%29%28mil%2Fh%29=> and the distance will be d=%283%2F2%29%28r%2B10%29%28mil%2Fh%29
Total Distance will be:
d=+%281%2F2%29r%2B%283%2F2%29%28r%2B10%29
d=+%281%2F2%29r%2B%283%2F2%29r%2B10%283%2F2%29
d=+%284%2F2%29r%2B5%283%29
d=+2r%2B15 miles
