Foil out the function
(2x-3)^2=4x^2-12x+9, just the way (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2
The vertex x point is at -b/2a or -(-12)/8=12/8 , or 1.5; a is 4, b is -12, and c is 9.
Go back to the original function
(2x-3)^2=(3-3)^2=0.
the vertex is at (1.5, 0)
