let x=number of 25 paisa coins
therefore there are x+2 5 paisa coins.
Total is 3.40 or 340 paisa
so 25x+5(x+2)=340
so 30x+10=340
30x=330
x= 11
so therefore x+2= 13 5 paisa coins.
