I will do this without the table.
It takes you x hours to do this
in 1 hour, you do 1/x of the garden
It takes your assistant 2x hours to do it
in 1 hour, the assistant does 1/2x of the garden
In 1 hour, you do 1/4 of the garden together.
(1/x)+(1/2x)=1/4
multiply by common denominator of 4x
4+2=x
x=6 hours, your time
2x=12 hours, the assistant's time
Two-thirds of the work is done by you; one-third by your assistant
