here is my solution for that compound inequality.
Note that our goal is to isolate the variable in the middle.

Could you please help me with this problem 12< 14+17+a/3 < 16 Thank you ********* Respondent @BurningFlame_marc(77)'s answer, 5, is mind-boggling!! 12< 14+17+a/3 < 16 <=== This inequality is very vague, to say the least!! Parentheses are NEEDED here!! If , then answer is: - 23 < a < - 11. Won't even think about what else this could be! You NEED to make any math problem that you seek help with, as CLEAR as possible! This must've been stated somewhere on here!
