You can put this solution on YOUR website! completes the square, and the answer is 9
To complete the square (perfect square), one takes half of the x term (so long as the first term, the x^2 has a coefficient of 1) and squares it, which is (-3)^2=9.
The factors of x^2-6x+9 are (x+3)^2, which is why it is called completing the square.
