Amacha spent driving 7 hours - 3 hours = 4 hours.
Led D be the distance between the offices.
Then you have this equation for the unknown D
 = 4,   (1)
where 4 = 4 hours is the total driving time.
To solve (1), multiply both sides by the Least Common Denominator 240. You will have
3D + 4D = 4*240,   or   7D = 960.
Hence, D =  = 137.14 miles. Solved.
