Question 1043176: Two cars leave X at 8 am - one travels towards and others towards Y and other towards Z. The Y bound car travels at 40 kph and other at 50 kph. they will be 360 km of road distance away from each other at: Answer by jorel555(1290) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Since the cars are traveling in opposite directions, you can add their velocities as they travel farther apart. 50+40=90 mph.
360/90=4 hours until they are 360 kilometers apart, or, in this case, at noon. !!!!
