You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the general equation of a circle centered at (x,0) and use the two points.
%28x-0%29%5E2%2B%280-4%29%5E2=R%5E2
x%5E2%2B16=R%5E2
and
%28x-1%29%5E2%2B%280-3%29%5E2=R%5E2
%28x-1%29%5E2%2B9=R%5E2
Set them equal to each other,
x%5E2%2B16=%28x-1%29%5E2%2B9
x%5E2%2B16=x%5E2-2x%2B1%2B9
-2x%2B10=16
-2x=6
x=-3
Then solve for R,
%28-3%29%5E2%2B16=R%5E2
R%5E2=9%2B16
R%5E2=25
R=5
