Question 1042625: There is a famous Ferris Wheel and it has a diameter of about 24m and rotates at a rate of 1 revolution every 32 seconds. The ride lasts for 192 seconds. The total height of the structure is 27m, as the wheel is 3 m off the ground.
A) Sketch a graph that would model your height above the ground in relation to time of ride. Assume you board the wheel at its lowest point.
B)If your friends had boarded before you, indicate on the graph where they might be at the start of the ride?
C) What if the Ferris wheel spun backward. How might that change your graph?
