y=x^4+x^3-19x^2+11x+30
Graph the function above. Use the graph to complete the sentences below.
1. For all x-values greater than 3, as x increases in value, y in value.
a) decreases b) increases
2. For all x-values less than -5, as x decreases in value, y in value.
a) decreases b) increases
Note: I graphed it, but I don't know how to determine if it is increasing or decreasing.
