Question 1041403: Here's my problem:
Agnes and Jamie left the apartment at the same time, traveling in the same direction (along the same road). Agnes is traveling at 54 mph and Jamie at 60 mph. How many hours will it be before Jamie is 12 miles ahead of Jamie? Answer by jorel555(1290) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let n be the amount of time traveled. Then
54n=60n-12
6n=12
n=2
In 2 hours, Jamie will be 12 miles ahead of Agnes. ☺☺☺☺
