You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The ratio of Andrew's hourly wage to Bob's hourly wage is 2:3.
let x = the 1st multiplier
then
2x = A's hourly wage
and
3x = B's hourly wage
The ratio of Bob's hourly wage to Chuck's hourly wage is 9.4.
let y = the 2nd multiplier
then
9y = B's hourly wage
4y = C's hourly wage
now we know
3x = 9y
therefore
x = 3y
Andrew earned $600 last week and worked twice as many hours as Chuck,
let c = amt of $ earned by C
A's hrs = twice C's hrs
600%2F%282x%29 = 2(c%2F%284y%29)
Replace x with 3y
600%2F2%283y%29 = 2(c%2F%284y%29)
600%2F%286y%29 = 2c%2F%284y%29
multiply both sides by y
600%2F6 = 2c%2F4
100 = c%2F2
c = 2*100
c = $200 earned by C
