Question 1040529: I am having trouble with this question. Which pair of linear equations represent parallel lines?
y=2x+3 y=-6x-5. y=-4x-3. y=8x+2
y=-2x+5 y=1/6x-5. y=-1/4x+7. y=8x-5
Please explain how you got the right answer. Thank you so much in advance- Emily

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
All 8 eqns are in slope-intercept form, y = mx + b
m is the slope.
Parallel lines have the same slope.
----
Find the pair that have the same value for m.
