how to put domain and range of the piece wise function on graphs.
A. Domain [– 4, 2]; Range [– 3, 3]
B. Domain [– 4, – 2]; Range [1, 2]

A.
The question, as it is formulated here, doesn't seem to be reasonable, in my view.

More reasonable question is: what is piece-wise function which has the domain [– 4, 2]; range [– 3, 3].

The answer is: there are two such functions.

1. First is the linear function y = f(x) with f(-4) = -3 and f(2) = 3.

2. The other is the linear function y = f(x) with f(-4) = 3 and f(2) = -3.

Same or similar for other sub-questions B) C), and D).
