Let n be your first acid solution. Then:
.4(n)+.25(142-n)=142(.27)
.4n+35.5-.25n=38.34
.15n=2.84
n=2.84/.15=18.93 liters of the 40% solution; and 123.06 liters of the 25% solution!!!!!!!!!!!
