You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2-26x-60=0
2(x^2-13x-30)=0
2(x-15)(x+2)=0
x-15=0
x=15 answer.
x+2=0
x=-2 answer.

By "...work to its simplest form..." do you mean "solve for x"?
I'll assume that's what you mean.
2x%5E2-26x+=+60 Subtract 60 from both sides.
2x%5E2-26x-60+=+0 Factor 2 from the trinomial.
2%28x%5E2-13x-30%29+=+0 Now factor the trinomial in parentheses.
2%28x-15%29%28x%2B2%29+=+0 so...
x+=+15 or x+=+-2
